There is a gold five coin set of different
denominations, each depicting characters from New Line Cinema's motion
picture The Lord of the Rings, from 1 oz. to 1/25 oz. This superb
set also includes the official replica of 'The One Ring'. A more
economical version of five coins is also available composed of the (1 oz.
size) Proof Sterling Silver Crowns.
In addition to the five coin sets, a single
design produced in Crown size Sterling Silver Proof and Unc. Cupro Nickel
has been released. This stunning example of the sculptors’ art will depict
all nine members of the ‘Fellowship of the Ring’, being Aragorn, Boromir,
Frodo, Gandalf, Gimli, Legolas, Merry, Pippin and Sam. In addition
to these nine characters, portraits of two of the important female
characters, Arwen and Galadriel also appear.
